Hi, I'm S.J
I spend my days in the real world - working, mothering, surviving - and my nights building darker ones. The kind where magic bites, power costs something and even the softest parts of us have teeth.
When I'm not writing I'm being turned into a dragon by my daughter, hunted by a very greedy Labrador, or quietly dreaming up new ways to ruin fictional lives.
I write fantasy with romantic subplots, laced with shadow, sacrifice and slow-burning ache - for readers who know that sometimes, monsters are made...and sometimes they're loved.
